The energy you have to get the most out of your day.
Are there any health practices unique to your country?
Not that I know of.
How does your healthcare system work?
We have free medical system called Medicare which is payed through our tax system. The tax system is incentivised to maintain private health insurance that could cover for any expenses not covered my Medicare.

Hospital surgery and extras.
Is healthcare easily accessible? What barriers to access exist?
Yes, there are hospitals, Gp clinics and mobile Gp the can visit you at home. Challenges occur when not living near a major population centres. We have the flying doctor service for critical cases but preventative medical in remote locations is challenging.
What health problems are prevalent in your country?
Disease cases by poor lifestyle chooses and an in ability to manage stress and emotions. Suicide and heart disease are Australia's biggest killers.
Is it common for people to seek healthcare outside the country?
Yes, it is becoming more common to gave some cosmetic procedures in Thailand.
In regards to health, where do you feel your country excels? What needs improvement?
Considerable efforts have been made to reduce waiting times in hospitals over the years. The introduction of Mobile gps and 24hr medical clinics have supported this effort.
If you could change something about health in your country, what would you change?
There is a high reliance on FDA to approve medication, there is a more focus on treatment of symptoms than prevention and mental health focuses on diagnosing the condition than treatment.
Is there anything else you would like to say regarding health in your country?
Travel insurance is highly recommended before traveling to Australia.
